American singer-songwriter JILL ANDREWS began her music career in 2004 by co-founding the alt-country group, The Everybodyfields. After releasing three albums and touring the country with the band, she decided to make a go of it on her own. And in 2009, she released her self titled EP, followed up with the full-length album, “The Mirror” in 2011. Jill has been on the road with The Avett Brothers and many others.
Her songs have been showcased on such shows as Grey’s Anatomy, Nashville, Hart of Dixie, and American Idol. Her single“Rust or Gold” was released concurrent with its debut on Grey’s Anatomy and within two days ranked in the top ten of iTunes’ Singer/Songwriter chart. Her second full-length album “The War Inside,” was released in September 2015. The disc reaches into the pop and indie rock world, while still tipping its hat to Andrews’ Appalachian roots. Longtime friend Seth Avett even makes an appearance, singing a duet with Andrews on “I’m so in Love with You.” These songs feel present, and they’re delivered the way Andrews always delivers them: with raw emotion that is as real to her as it is to the listener. |
